Destination Wedding

A few years ago my wife and I have had the most incredible wedding in Puerto Vallarta, where over 100 of our friends and family with us for a celebration.

It all started a year ago when we decided to seek the benefits of a destination wedding. We live in San Francisco Bay, and since I'm from Chile, I struggled with the idea of here and do not have many of my married friends and family. If you're in the U.S., Uncle Sam should be in GB Embassy in Chile, get a visa to throw a lot of money for a round trip, book an expensive hotel in town, and how to order in a different language . I started thinking that everything was going to Chile to enjoy wine on my wedding day to be.

In addition, the cost to our marriage began here in the Bay area to scare me. When we started comparing prices from different places, it seemed he tried to sell the place instead of renting for a day.

Accordingly, we began to explore the possibility of seeking a destination wedding. Our facilities here in the United States was not in good condition and beginning to realize that for the same price we paid, like pigs in a farm of my uncle in sweat Stockton woman could actually a luxury villa seaside of the wedding. And it's not over yet. When I told my friends in Chile, we refer primarily engaged in paradise, they spoke to join us for the big day. Began to realize that there is also an excellent opportunity to take a week off. For our visitors from America, the idea seemed good. Many of our friends and family used to travel to another state for a honeymoon for two hours, Mexico was not a big deal (especially since the IPO, the road passes over a bag of peanuts and a towel.)

Our trip to the big day

We began our plans for the big day of decision on the site. We estimated that nearly 100 people wanted to participate. At first we thought the only option for many people it was in a hotel. However, we believe that if we wanted something different, we did not make it unique! We started in the possibility of our wedding party to look for in a villa. We recognized then, most villas in Puerto Vallarta had the capacity to accommodate that many people (and in many cases). After considering several options, we decided the Big Blue House, a beautiful villa, which was the quiet bay area overlooking Mismaloya our best. This house for nothing less than spectacular!

After securing the site for a wedding coordinator, was our next mission. United States has been a lot of coordinators, destination weddings, but we believe that no one could help improve the organization of marriage as a local coordinator. We wanted someone with local knowledge, with the capacity they need more opportunities for all types of comfort at a price that a local friend. With a good recommendation, we find DMC Vallarta. The owner, Viviana Curel has been very helpful from the beginning. We contacted about seven months before the wedding and said that in terms of decor, food, environment, etc. We decided that every two weeks, please contact us at the alternatives, both wanted to continue talking. During a period of 3-4 months, we talked a few weeks with her and I always felt he had made significant progress. Two months before the wedding had everything in place, including the header, menu, beverages (including a server), decoration, DJ, mariachi band, etc.

As the time approached and we knew exactly who came, we started to help our customers find their homes. Since we were staying at the villa, where the event will take place, villas for rent in the region was the most popular choice among our customers. The comfort and privacy of staying in a villa not seem very attractive to most of them, not to say there is a better alternative in terms of price was good.
