Rain on the Wedding Day

Probably every couple thinks about the weather on the wedding day.

We have our wedding on the 20th June. It is one of the days of the year when it’s invariably wet. In addition, we have planned only the champagne reception after the church in the outdoors. And you may have three chances to guess what the weather was the day. It just rained for an hour. Just when we were leaving the church and friends had planned a surprise a balloon launch. The balloons are flown not all, were so hard the drops.

We had an extra wedding umbrella. But those I confided to my aunt and she was not there after the church, because she had to move for a surprise. Fortunately, you get a couple immediately offered a screen.

But in hindsight I was very pleased with the weather. Because of the balloons our guests had secured tickets for us. Many have landed in the neighborhood and since we got married in our church, many were thrown right on the same day with us in the mailbox.

Every kind of weather has advantages and disadvantages. You can not change it, but you can prepare for it. A Plan B for bad weather calms the nerves. And even in the rain can cause great wedding photos. The bride and groom in black and white and a colorful screen ... great.

Bride Preparations

As on 10 May morning the alarm rang, we knew: "Today is the day". After months of preparations and the wedding stress the great day had now arrived. And what a day: the sun was shining early in the morning and promised a beautiful, sunny, hot day but also to be.

While I was still pretty quiet my things packed up, Lars was bustling plenty of excitement through the apartment and made myself almost totally jittery. I told him quickly ironed his shirt that he next day with the hotel wanted to take on and then it was time for us first take leave also. I finally had in the clouds castle to transform a bride to let me in there.

Unfortunately on the way to the castle clouds, the first minor breaks down. I wanted to take the road to Verena, my maid of honor, but it did not appear easy. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my phone and not know what to do. When it really time already no longer be helped, I decided to go ever to cloud castle and take advantage of dortaus Verena identified. But as luck would have it, she ran me a couple of streets away on the road. They had cut his finger in the hotel and had to first be a little doctoring, and was therefore too late. But that was then still everything worked out.

Ingo and Yvonne had already been waiting for us then in the cloud castle. After a few minutes then cooling it was already going on with hair screw. Verena got in the meantime from my dress from the wedding dress shop, which was fortunately only about 100 meters away. While I was then issued with curlers in the 'hood astronauts "had to photograph Yvonne meantime my dress, my jewelry, my shoes, etc. Also Verena took the time to make nice - if not exactly with Ingo joked about the fact that their stand as maid of honor but the "Bitch" would look much better, etc.

After the hair completely dry and then back out the curlers were started Ingo be make-masterpiece. Again, the preparations were again spiced with jokes, because of that, a Baroque-style with white makeup and beauty mark or a very dark edged mouth but what would be. Sometimes I was already almost no longer sure what Ingo and Verena were serious and what not. But the look in the mirror convinced me then quite quickly that Ingo has laid a great job. The make-up looked absolutely great, yet of course, just as I wanted it.

Shortly thereafter followed her or my dad and my sister and all admired, as so was by and by my bride hairstyle. As it was then but a little crowded in the small room, then I have my dad and my sister again thrown out, as it went into the final rounds. Ingo föhnte just quickly my Ma and Verena hair over the barrel, while I used the last opportunity to rumlümmeln on the couch, was then already had the time to slip into my dress.

Verena helped me Reins dough into the dress and the zipper at the close. And then they put me great jewelry around her. They also put me their talisman (blue, old and used) ans dress. And before I knew it I was a bride ready. Now it was slowly but surely, that the other had to go down all. Verena was still the longest in my stay, but when she left the room then it was suddenly quiet with my past that I still had until then. All alone in space, in my wedding dress, the bride's bouquet in my hand, but the excitement came over me now. Fortunately, I did not wait long and I had also been picked up.

On the stairs I was then taken in by Lars reception. He beamed forward already and told me directly that I would have picked a great wedding dress. Now we had a brief moment for us at the door before the wedding should go off.

Costume fashion for the bride

Recently I've ever thought about the wedding Dirndl. And now it was still considered as a rarity to have to write about it.
wedding dirndl a

However, it seems that more and more brides marry in wedding dirndl for themselves - more and more married in costume. Of course, there are various stores which react to this trend quickly and show more and more wedding dresses of this range.

The big difference from the normal dirndl, there will be more in silk and lace work. The dirndl needs not to be white, cream or light brown tones can also be found many.

For a wedding dress I'd better give up a curtain. Stylish hair accessories are better or equal to real flowers, which can be incorporated into the hair wonderfully. The hair should be pinned up as open hair and dirndl remember otherwise rather than to forest spirit bride. Ergo: it is here important to eighth on the details.

The right bridal styling will find

On any day, is probably more the question “What do I wear?” How one's own wedding.

Some brides already know quite clearly look like they want, but many have only a rough idea of what they will or not certainly want to.
The bride's styling is not only out of the wedding dress alone. There are added many details, because one has to remember literally from head to toe, everything: hair, make up , jewelry , veils , underwear , shoes and.
The selection of these beautiful things is of course huge, and the flood of possibilities one can there ever overwhelm. Nevertheless, to keep track, I always recommend creating a "look- book.” In this look -book, which collect a notebook or folder (can be real or electronic), the images of the selected clothes, accessories, hairstyles and everything you connect to your bridal styling. Divide it in the look -book categories (apparel, shoes, hairstyle, jewelry, etc.).
From the collected images, you can then put together various styles and get such a sense of how you want to look at your big day. Is reached, you can also start the shops to make sure. Of course, you start with the wedding dress, because after that everything else depends!
Take your look -book, or at least your styling always compiled with the dates - whether the bride, designer, hairdresser or makeup artist and discuss with them your ideas. The professionals can assess what good fits to your type, what is feasible and what not.

Wedding at sea is perfect for summer

Many couples give themselves to land the knot. It usually has a beautiful nearby lake or other waters to which one can dare wonderful.

Coastal residents may resort to this course, the sea, but even landlubbers offer many possibilities. A wedding on the water has a special flair. The boat can be booked according to the size of the planned event, it can separès classically beautiful and has something beautiful about it. Even the romance is not too short, water, sun and holiday feeling to do the rest.

Who has a big budget can make this with the whole family or a small scale in the U.S. There is a travel company specializing in weddings. In the dreamlike Sanibel Harbour Resort can at Fort Myers in Southwest Florida on a luxury yacht is the dream wedding or not combined as such.

Bridal lingerie by revanche de la femme

The bride is concerned mostly with wedding dresses and accessories required. The question of Bridal lingerie, however, sometimes a little neglected. Often this is due to the fact that the wedding night, not really taking place. The bridal couple is, after all the preparations and celebration itself usually fixed and all.

My advice: best places to the actual wedding night in the honeymoon. On the first evening in the romantic ambience and the beautiful surroundings you can finally relax and focus only on the partner.

Must not miss the matching bridal lingerie and it was said, here you can sometimes apply thick. Beautiful bridal lingerie I have with revanche de la femme discovered. There are corsets in all variations. The new wife can throw, depending on your taste in clothes or innocent turn into a vamp. Times decorated with embroidery or studded with lush frills, for the big show, it may still be a little more.

Under the wedding dress I would recommend more convenient and simple bridal lingerie. The dress itself is usually already heavy and somewhat unwieldy, as you do it with a mountain of lace at the bridal lingerie only even more difficult.

6 top tips to help you find the perfect wedding dress for you

Selecting the perfect wedding dress is one of the most important decisions you will make in planning your wedding. It can be more than a little daunting, as you know all eyes are going to be on you – and your dress – on the big day and you want to make sure that you are looking your best. It’s enough to drive some brides to despair. But with a little pre-planning it’s easy to get organized and on the right track to finding “the one”. Here are 6 top tips to help you find the perfect wedding dress for you:

1. Look for what you like – Some of us girls even have pictures of dresses saved from before we got our proposal! Looking in wedding magazines is always the useful first step to getting an idea of what you want – it’s fun too. Also use the internet as a resource. Keep these clippings and bookmark sites in your web browser. Top Tip: Use Google’s Image Search function to quickly browse through pictures of dresses (go to the Google homepage and click on the text that says ‘Images’ in the top left hand corner. Then search as normal for ‘wedding dresses’ – the results will be images instead of text).

2. Look early – This means looking at around 9 months ahead if possible. Say you have a proposal, set a date – ideally you can start looking then. If you are ordering a custom dress then this can take months to make and if you need alterations – as the majority of women do – this will also take time. A good seamstress is often booked up far in advance, so getting in early is essential.

3. Set a budget – Why does there have to be a budget?! Well, it’s way too easy to go overboard with the dress – but it is unfair to spend a huge proportion of the budget on a dress if it means your guests have to eat bread rolls all night! It’s important to strike a balance and setting a budget in advance can help you focus. And remember you can find stunning gowns for a few hundred pounds if you know where to look (check out our site below for more on this). Also remember alterations could cost a few hundred pounds, although some boutiques will do the alterations in store for you, if you negotiate with them.

4. How to pay – Instead of using a cash deposit, use a credit card. Why? To protect your purchase in case something goes wrong. This happened to my sister-in-Law… the dress shop went out of business a few weeks before her wedding day. Thankfully it was covered by the credit card company.

5. Set deadlines – From the point you buy your dress you need to give the seamstress specific deadlines for delivering the required alterations. It’s probably a good idea to allow for a bit of leeway and set deadlines that have a 1 – 2 week contingency built in.

6. Take a friend – Or someone you trust. Someone who has a style you like – this may not be your mum and it may not be your best friend. As much as you may like the look of a dress, a good second opinion is an essential sanity check. Remember to keep things appropriate – a grand wedding probably calls for a classic wedding dress and not a short white number. A semi-formal ceremony means you can wear a coloured dress or even something more modern and funky.
